This four-class series is taught by Paula Dorta.

Level: Beginner  
In this four-class series, students will learn how to use a sewing machine and serger and some basic sewing techniques. The Sewing machine and serger are provided by Tinkerhaus, but if you wish to bring yours, just let us know. Materials will be provided, but you may reuse fabric that you have around the house. If you bring fabric, please pre-wash it to avoid shrinking your finished project.  

Produce and Grain Bag
In this class you will learn how to make a mesh produce bag with a cotton finish and a grain bag. Materials will be provided.

Coffee Filter, Tea Sachet, Make-up Pad , Fabric Towels 
In this class you will learn how to make a coffee filter for your coffee machine, a tea sachet, a little flannel pad to remove your make-up, and fabric towels to substitute your paper towels at home.

Bring the paper coffee filter for your coffee machine so we can trace the right size one. The other materials will be provided. 

2 Sets of Cloth Napkins
In this class you will learn two ways of making napkins, one casual and one formal. Materials will be provided.

Bento Bag
In this class you will be learning how to make a bento bag, that bag could be made in any size and be used to carry a big variety of things. Materials will be provided.
