Women's Classic Shirt Class

Level: Intermediate
For the experienced sewer who has made a wider variety of items and feels comfortable with a new challenge.

In this class you will be guided through this shirt sewing pattern, helping you make your first of many button up shirts.

Materials provided:
Sewing pattern “Women’s Classic Shirt Pattern” by Liesl & Co.
Sewing machine and serger are provided by Tinkerhaus, but if you wish to bring yours, just let us know.

Material to bring to class

  • Fabric of your choice. Check the pattern online to find amount and suggested fabric you will need for the size you chose to make. Pattern link

  • Coordinating thread

  • Featheweight interfacing (fusible or sew-in)

  • 7/16”buttons (15 or 17 depending on style of shirt you chose to make)

  • A pair of fabric scissors or rotary cutter

  • A pair of paper scissors

  • Tracing paper (I recommend Swedish tracing paper)

  • A pen to trace your pattern

  • Flexible quilting ruler, or any sewing cutting ruler
