Learn the basics in Tinkerhaus' introductory woodshop course. Work on a simple project to practice safe machine tool use in our woodshop. You'll go home with a cutting board and be certified to use the woodshop all in one class! Note: You need to be a member to use the woodshop once certified.
Tools covered: jointer, miter saw, thickness planer, band saw, drill press, hand sander and table saw.
Clothing required: All clothing should be non-synthetic (cotton or canvas is recommended), Long pants, long or short sleeve shirt, boots or other closed-toe shoes, hair tie for long hair, safety glasses and hearing protection. We recommend you bring your own safety gear, but we have equipment on hand if you don’t have any.

Minimum participants: 3
