In this class students will have the opportunity to look through photo albums of 20 summers of projects to help them decide what they would like to make - a bookcase, Plinko, Skeeball, knockhockey, pirate's chest and more.
Sketches with measurements will help make accurate material lists to ensure we know how much lumber will be needed. Then wood selection, measuring, cutting and sanding followed by double checking to make sure all pieces are ready for assembly.
Finally a discussion of possible finishes (paint, varnish, polyurethane, etc which can be done at home with parental supervision) and photographs so they can be in the next photo album!
