Ages: Adults and teens 16+
Learn to carve an elegant ribbon-curl Christmas tree from basswood using traditional hand tools. Participants will shape the tree and carve flowing decorative curls while learning safe carving techniques, grain direction, chisel control, and methods for creating consistent details.
No previous carving experience is required, although patience and attention to detail are encouraged. Each participant will leave with a completed tree, the skills to create additional trees in various sizes, and a deeper understanding of chisel control.
