Pushed ahead to January 26 due to illness!
with Lisa Hargreaves
Saturday mornings, January 19, 26, February 2 - 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Inspired by the the loss of her friend, Maryann Fitzgerald’s son, Jimmy, to opioid overdose, experienced teacher and seamstress, Lisa Hargreaves is offering a 3-part workshop for grieving parents to create a Teddy Bear from their loved one’s favorite clothes. Parents who have been through this nightmarish tragedy must work through their grief in many ways and this project combines keeping hands busy, telling a fuller story through the child’s favorite clothing and spending time with people who share a common bond. The sessions will be progressive, with new skills learned in each class and a finished project at the end. Participants do not need to be experienced sewers or makers.
$125 plus $15 materials fee = $140
